Generally, the electric roller shaft requires heat treatment or surface hardening treatment as required to improve its mechanical properties and wear resistance. The difference in elastic modulus between alloy steel and carbon steel at normal temperature is very small. Therefore, the alloy steel cannot improve the stiffness of the shaft.
