The roller can substitute for the currently widely used external motor-reducer device used in constructing belt conveyors, which are capable of transporting bulk materials such as coal, ore, sand, cement, and flour, as well as packaged goods like sacks and equipment. The roller is well sealed and is suitable for workplaces with high dust concentrations and wet, muddy environments. It offers convenience in both usage and maintenance, ensuring safe and reliable operation with a long service life. Additionally, the roller consumes less energy and is easy to centrally control.

The rollers are categorized into light, medium, and heavy-duty types according to their carrying capacities, with each type offering a variety of axle diameters and center spans for selection. The roller surfaces have bright steel surface, herringbone, and diamond-shaped patterned rubber cover. The herringbone rubber surface has a high friction coefficient and excellent drainage capabilities, but it is directional, requiring the herringbone tips to align with the traveling direction of the conveyor belt during installation. For conveyors running in two directions, diamond-shaped patterned rubber cover is recommended, and in important applications, vulcanized rubber cover must be adopted. In fire-retardant and explosion-proof environments, corresponding explosion-proof measures should be taken. The bearing pedestals are available in both integral and split designs, all equipped with oil cups to facilitate lubrication.
